I'm not pointing any fingers, but in my years of being on the Internet I can't help but notice something. There is a preponderance of the non-fit posing nude.

I'm not pointing fingers or naming names. Granted, we all have different types, and I don't think anyone should be ashamed of their bodies. But I had thought that there was some sort of cultural understanding that, well, people who pose nude are expected to be, at least, a little in shape, and at least a few years prior to retirement age.

Probably one of those threads I shouldn't start. I mean, I can feel this thread pissing people off before I post it. But sometimes I browse the gallery and I see pictures and can't believe that anyone would ever think that a picture of a flabby, hairy, pounchy, middle aged man would ever turn anyone on.

I don't know. I guess sexuality is a smorgasbord. Maybe young and fit isn't everyone's cup of tea. :261:

i think those middle-aged men get alot of play. i don't know from who, but i would assume they do. they haven't taken their pics down.

It's actually a fascinating phenomenon. You have a huge percentage of the population struggling to stay thin and in shape, and then you have another percentage that just lets itself go -- and yet, apparently, that percentage "gets play."

I guess no matter your type, you appeal to someone. I guess that's the wonder of the Internet: connects all different types.

Most pose nude for a sence of connection and attraction as well as a disire to turn others on or sometimes shock. In art, i know that isnt what you are talking about, people of all ages and shape pose for art classes and artists. I cant say that I am turned on by fat and hair woman and men realy dont apeal to me. (sorry, guys.)

Oh. That's interesting. I had thought that maybe some of the fowl middle aged men were unable to see how unattractive they are.
Not only middle aged men but middle aged women.

There are some people who like things you don't like... I used to work with a guy and any gal under 300lbs he didn't want them!

The number of butterball 300 pound bearish guys I've seen has never failed to amaze me.... :frown1: Not fit with padding but like a blob of Jello®. They are definately comfortable with themselves to put up nudie pix though

You would think that all nudists would be fit and a picture of health. Turns out it's more people who are comfortable in their own skin vs being truly "attractive".

Look up "super pear" on youtube. You'll see some women with booties bigger than DOUBLE your waist size

it makes you wonder...without the "glamourization" of a certain body type...what would we actually be attracted to?

I quite enjoy posing nude and my body is far from "perfect". I do it because I like to show who I am in that moment and if I happen to be nude in the image it is in the image. I've photographed friends and models who are not what we are told is the standard of beauty (if such a thing exists), but they love who they are and that, more than a six pack or big dick is important in a photo.

Some of the people I've photographed upon seeing my nudes will think they are interesting, others have a look on their face "Like anyone would want to see that body!" I try to explain that although my six pack doesn't show and my biceps aren't bulging, I still admire & appreciate my body as much as they do their gym toned physique.

As for "getting play"...as a gay man, I know I'm considered a bear and there are many men into that. I'm sort of wary of that because if you love me for being fat and I grow thin, does your love diminish or evaporate? Being single, I do notice that men similar to my ex seem to be interested in me (lean & defined muscle) and the men who are similar to me all seem to want a muscle man or a twink.

you're actually really attractive. i wouldn't consider you to be the type of fat and flabby(largely because you aren't) person that he's referring to.

I remember seeing a show about the 70s on Vh1. They started talking about the first-ever swingers club, which was in New York. I think it was Geraldo Rivera who said, "And it was just the last people in the world that you would ever find sexy. I mean, flabby, fat, middle aged, unattractive people."
