This might not be the best spot for this so if its wrong i apologize. I have discovered over the past couple of years i life CMNM, not as a sex thing, I dont get hard doing it- but i love rush of masculinity and sense of belonging I feel. I used to go to a shvitz in my home town where non-gay nudity was expected but that shut down after covid, and i went to a russian masseuse for awhile who asked i be nude for the massage, but he has since retired. Lockerooms near me are hit and miss, if they are nude friendly they are also cruisy- which is not my scene/what im after. Not judging, just not my thing.

I have never had any problem being naked in changing rooms (which I presume to be the same thing as locker rooms on the other side of the big puddle).
I have also never had a problem undressing completely and finishing drying and dressing again outside shower cubicles in an all-male environment in order to minimise the amount of time I am in the cubicle when there are queues.

ITs very touch and go where i am, nudity has been highly sexualized but i have always felt it is a part of masculinity as you have described in theory, i just need a way to experience it. The only situation that comes to mind is non-nudist holidays where I never do the towel dance at the beach and have regularly walked naked from my apartment or hotel room to the sea for a swim. On these occasions I have been seen by many clothed people, both male and female.

As far as saunas are concerned, I currently use the saunas at nude swim events and at Clover Spa Hotel without any precautions. At other UK hotels I sit on a towel with enough free to one side to cover up if anybody else enters.
I have little experience with continental hotels but have booked a long weekend at Hotel & Wellness Zuiver in Amsterdam before Christmas. The only other non-UK hotel sauna I have used was in Beijing in 1999 which is pictured below.

There is a Korean spa near me that I want to try. Of course in the wet area, everyone is naked.
The gym I use to go to had a steam room and wide open shower area next to it. People walking in and out of the steam room got a close up view. Right next to the shower area is the mirrors and sinks.
