For years I sustained lowhangers dragging across seats, sitting on them, chafing, and eventually toilet-dipping. Finally decided to investigate pouch underwear; tried numerous makes and ended with Aussie Bum Super Jock Hipster. Been wearing them 24/7 (except for sitting on toilet) even slept with them on - about 2 years now. The last couple of months I realized I was no longer toilet-dipping. I'm wondering if constant support, over a long time, shrinks the support mechanism (?) so that I'm now held up higher. If so, how permanent is this effect? Anyone have any experience with this?

I really hope you didn't wear the same pair of underpants for 2 years.

I would be interested in a serious answer--even though I don't have that problem. I hope you get a helpful answer!

I too have a problem with wet balls when I sit so I avoid it as much as I can by holding my balls up when I have to sit down. Lets just say, "it takes two hands" and I'm no whopper!

I doubt seriously if wearing briefs would make your balls hang less low. What possible physics could explain that?

What physics could possibly explain the shortening of the Achilles tendon in women who always wear high heels?

I would imagine it is a similar mechanism.

I've also became quite the low hanger in recent years... not quite hitting water... but I've noticed my bulge hardly shows anymore. I was wondering if it was the switch to boxers in my teens. I've been wearing more supportive underwear .... but I miss the freedom. Quite the conundrum. Haha.

All I can say to the OP is, I wish I had your problem. :) I'm one of the odd ones who finds low-hangers extraordinarily sexy.
