Nora Ephron RIP

Writer/director Nora Ephron gravely ill I was so sad to learn this; she is such a talented woman (and is really nice too) Not a combination common in Hollywood. If I can plug one of her books please read Crazy Salad it will make you smile.

Sad! Why is it that cancer always seems to take the great ones? I love Nora Ephron and her work.

Sad to hear she's ill.

EDIT: I read that she's not expected to live through the night. May or may not be true ... but very sad to hear that the end is so close.

"I Feel Bad About My Neck" made me feel not so alone about being a smart woman going slightly nuts about getting older. And that's what she was to me: a smart, brutally funny and honest woman who knew how to turn a phrase. She could express the universal feeling of what it feels like to be a woman, in a book or in a movie.

Rest easy up there Nora, but keep them on their toes.
