No, because Obama is a scumbag chicago politician and the only reason he apologized is because he got caught trying to shove a croni tax-dodger into the seat. Dont expect Geithner to be removed until the Public sees the hypocrisy in this move...which the media will do all it can to sweep under the rug.

Yawn.

Given that we still haven't seen accountability from the last scumbag administration, don't you think this is premature?

This is Failbama's sad and manipulative attempt at showing humility. It's a lot like a plot to a bad movie. Pick a real loser to show your compassion, full well knowing the guy is a tax cheat.

If the media gives him a pass, you're a real compassionate guy.

If the media clobbers him, humbly admit making a mistake and you'll look humble and sincere.

Then leftards will say "Well at least he admitted his mistakes unlike Bush who was stubborn blah blah blah" (As heard in Starbucks and Hollisters store nationwide).

I mean, I admit, I was afraid that Republicans would be duped by Failbama's charisma and eloquence, but this is really fucking weak. No matter how Failbama could write this script, it's a failed one.

I think that all the arguing about party politics is totally stupid. Issues are clouded, and people sit here and name call. We have Republicans screaming bad things about Obama, and dems screaming nothing but praise for Obama and anti-Republican rants. Obama himself has seen fit to try and reach across party lines, and forge the best possible government he can. Shouldn't all the rest of you stop pissing and try to make things better. Face the truth! There is good and evil in both parties.

That is nonsense, afterall "Dissent is patriotic". Isn't that what the brain dead left was screaming about the last 8 years?

Well guess what, I'm a patriot!

Yeah, I remember Linda Chavez, Bush's appointee for the Department of Labor in 2001, what an embarrassment that was, no apology either when he tried to push her thru ?

Obama has talked a good game about reaching across party lines. It makes for great sound bites and sounds impressive to his worshippers and media. But in real life, I've not seen any real reaching across party lines, hoot. Republicans weren't even consulted on the pork stimulus bill.

I really don't care by about those who are swayed by eloquence, it's fucking meaningless. Talk about the issues and take off that stupid veil of intellectualism, it's childish.

The left's incessant desire to appear educated is childish and a is cheap substitute for ethic principle. It's the coping mechanism of the morally bankrupt.

So let's get this straight... typing and speaking in an educated manner is "childish" and "cheap"? Wow... you must be filthy rich then!

First of all, he's appointing seasoned Republicans to posts. Secondly, Congress and only Congress can draft legislation. When will people really grasp that fact? We were required to study the founding and working of the US Government for a whole year just to get out of high school. Right now democrat leaders are working with republican leaders to work out a passable piece of legislation. Whether they like it or not, the dems know they can't pass it without working together.
