Nice photos. Some of them are obviously hard and a few are 1/2 hard. Most are well built. It's too bad that most guys don't stay well built as they age; too much effort I guess.

Effort is definitely a factor, but not the only one. As guys age it requires more exercise to keep in shape. More exercise -> more time required. Age-related problems often dictate that exercise be less strenuous. Less strenuous exercise -> more exercise time to get the same workout. So we have two independent factors requiring ageing guys spend more time in the gym, pool, whatever.

At the same time, responsibilities with family, job, etc. often increase so the ageing guy has less time available to spend on fitness. One thing I've noticed with straight guys is that while the wife and family might SAY they encourage the guy to exercise more, every time he tries to actually go and DO it some kind of crisis/problem that requires his attention mysteriously appears. It's sabotage, of course..... but just try to get the wife to admit it.

The older I get, the more things in my life seem to require other people to co-operate, acquiesce, or at least do their jobs. Yup, I totally agree that an ageing guy has to make more of an effort to stay in shape, but effort by itself is not even close to enough. Yes, it is too bad.

Another way married guys have their fitness intensions sabotaged is that some wives encourage over eating. If there were things in the house that I should be eating I'd have problems too.

Yes, very nice pics. As much as I enjoy them, it's a tad bittersweet as pics like these remind me that I spent age 15 to 35 working my ass off under the delusion that if I kept my nose clean and to the grindstone I'd be rewarded. It wasn't until I found myself kicked to the curb (for reasons that still elude me) at age 35 that it dawned on me that maybe I'd based my life on factually inaccurate information.

To the younger guys here, my advice is to follow the Golden Rule and beyond that do what makes you happy. Trust me, you will NOT get rewarded for making yourself miserable.

And yes, feel free to continue posting pics of these hot, young guys.

Anton, as an older guy here, I understand what you're saying, and I've experienced similar things from trying to live a straight-laced life (no pun intended) and always trying to do the "right thing."

I heard an expression: "If youth only knew, and if age only could."

It's similar to the saying, that "youth is wasted on the young."

Peace, Bro,

I don't know whether I've ever mentioned on this site my experience in a fraternity house.

Decades ago, when I was poor, I boarded for about 7 months in a fraternity house near the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. To take a shower, guys would often walk nude from their rooms to the showers. Of course the showers were open. On the way back to their rooms, they would sometimes, while still nude, stop in another guy's room for a visit, including even my room. They were totally relaxed about it. Once, in December, a guy, while nude, pointed to his tan line after noticing that it had not completely faded. There was nothing sexual about any of this.

Of course, that was decades ago. Attitudes have changed so radically that most young guys now stay completely covered at all times. I don't see the change as being healthful. It is probably the reason that many guys are afraid that they are under "endowed"; if they saw many other guys nude they would be aware of the considerable variety and would be less concerned about whether they are normal.
