Back in the 70s I used to hit Coot Lake in Boulder, Colorado.
Weekends with all the 60 hippies that lived in the Boulder area, made it look like a mini version of Woodstock. Around the lake (which was just a pond) families would be hanging out, but down in the back where the bushes were everything would go on. I miss those days.

I used to live in Oahu and was paddling in from surfing out at Diamond Head Beach (by the big crater on southern Oahu). I paddled with the current and ended up getting washed up on the very western edge of the beach. As I pulled myself out of the water I noticed there were a bunch of naked people lying around. I thought it was odd at first, because I didn't know Oahu had nude beaches. Then I realized it was all men. Then I thought, well that's interesting, it is a Gay nude beach. A couple of the guys looked up to check me out (I was clothed) and I just pulled my board up and began to walk toward the beach entrance.
As I started to walk around the bend, this big, old Texan guy (who obviously did not know where he was going) rounded the corner and saw all of these nude men lying on the ground, to which he responded (Quite loudly) "What the fuck is this?! WOODSTOCK?"

Absolutely priceless.

I was in Oahu in 1981, and had heard about people hanging out nude hear Diamond Head. I was thinking of going over and enjoying myself but I some how decided not to. The next day in the Honolulu paper was a write-up on the cops arresting people.

I also enjoy nude beaches, or just being nude. I seldom change under a towel no-matter where I am. I normally stand next to my car and strip off, dry off, then put on my shorts. I do always look first to see that nobody is in view but have occasionally been seen when someone has driven past or come around a corner.

I see this guy Viking, visited Greece. I am from Greece and for many years i've been visiting such beaches. Not places where many guys go, or girls whatever i don't care, but there are some absolutely fantastic spots, like hidden little beaches that are wonderful and it just makes you want to get rid of any short of garment-fabric etc. Oh, and by the way, i'm not religious at all. If there's anyone evil fooling around in here, that's me... ;-)

Does anyone else like to show off at nude beaches? What was your first experience like? Which beaches have you checked out? What is the typical reaction? Do you do it more to be at one with nature, to work on all over tan, or for the exposure/reaction?

My story is a bit different. I go to Germany every summer, and we have this lake, where there is a lot of nude swimming. It is right off a path, and behind the bushes. Often there are men there, and sometimes women. I really enjoy watching and being seen. Heres three examples from last year, There was this really great looking young guy who came on a skateboard. I had not taken it all off, and he was wearing his boxers. he finally took them off, and I did the same. He had the perfect uncut penis, like many over there do. Then there was this couple. I see him often. He really has a long uncut penis.Well after a lot of wine, she starts humping his leg. The final one was a guy who came pretending he was looking at the lake, while I was trying to concentrate on a book. He came over and made small talk. I've visited a few nude areas around the UK during the summer months (Dont want to get hyperthemia here). Enjoyed the showing off aspect and also the open and quite forward women I tend to chat to and meet there. Always looking to visit some new places that I've not been to yet, i'm fairly new to it so there is quite alot of places i've yet to get to. I think i'll probably try to make a visit to a few places abroad some day. As thirteenbyseven mentioned early, i'd also encourage other members here to give it a go.
