Nudity in college sports: a question

Jockmaestro you state "it is totally illegal" I don't think any law has been passed to make locker room nudity illegal.

Men have done activities nude in front of other men for thousands of years. I am more surprised this was advertised as captured by hidden camera and no one saw a problem with that. So as casual as they were with each other; they never realized one person with his own agenda was lurking in the bushes betraying their trust.
Sadly that is life it only takes 1 person to abuse the trust of others to sour peoples perceptions and cause mistrust.

Wow! That guy needed some serious therapy. All guys are a little nervous using them at first. When it starts interfering with life like that, professional help is needed. That goes beyond being shy and insecure. It's quite sad actually that he gave up his future over something so trivial.
Yes, he did have some hangups but what was puzzling he was a tad bigger than me ( below the belt ) but I was much muscular & fit than he so there may have been some feelings of inferiority,,, or something...His parents were well-to-do and I figured he decided to continue his lavish lifestyle at their expense.. He never left home, his mother died while I was in college , his father retired from a successful restaurant business and moved to Florida along with my bud. When he and his dad moved to Florida we weren't on speaking terms as he thought I was the reason he & his girlfriend broke up a year prior to the Florida move.
I read a report about a guy who declined to pursue his dreams of being a baseball player even though he could have landed a gig in the minors because he could not take a shower with other guys. He got a hardon every time he dropped his underwear. He insisted he is not gay -- which may well be true inasmuch as gay men certainly are in communal showers without wood. So there is no absolute association.
Anyway he insisted his problem was incurable and said he tried everything. It may have been uncomfortable but he could have worked through it and reprogrammed his response by doing it.
Team locker rooms in college and minor league sports still typically have common showers and passing them over is not a choice.
II went back to my college for a reunion recently. We got to use the rec facilities, and the showers in the main common locker room were "upgraded". The poles were removed and shower heads around perimeter of the massive room had narrow partitions installed. Still no stalls or curtains however. In contrast the team locker room I saw t-- Lax -- was greatly upgraded with nice wooden lockers and peripherals, but the shower room, very much in use, was still just three poles.

What's it like for D-III athletes these days? When I was a swimmer in college we typically practiced the ritual of speedos on walking into the shower, strip naked as soon as the shower head gets hot, shower naked, walk out naked to locker, towel off at locker. If we did weight lifting or dryland conditioning we stashed all our clothes at the locker and did the naked walk both to and from the gang showers.

wow in that movie was a situation with some black guy standing aside when those white boys came to the weight one by one... mmmh i would have loved to be one of the white "little" boys, being observed by those fit and hung guys.... so hot!! i find that imbalance between clothed and nude so totally horny, get's me hard in seconds!

I haven't fully read all five pages of replies, so sorry if this was already brought up, but the one thing that surprised me in the video is that almost all of the guys seem to be trying to fluff themselves up a bit by tossing their junk around every time they take off their clothes or step onto the scale. I could see them doing this if they knew they were being filmed (and the video was actually staged, though it certainly looks legit to me), or if it's just some college jock thing. Stripping naked and not covering up (at least not right away) is very common at my gym even though the majority of guys are 25-35, and I don't think I've every seen anybody flip their junk around after getting naked like these guys are doing. I've certainly never done it either. Anybody know what this is all about??
I do it as well to fluff, so I keep a respectable size. I've seen other guys do it as well for what I assume to be the same reason. I get serious sports dick after a workout, so some fluffing is needed.

i do the same thing. getting out of the compression shorts leaves everything 'compressed'. I bounce my cock and balls around a couple times just to get them back to their regular position.
Same here...and "compressed" is a good adjective for it. I'm a bit on the smaller side, and while I'm completely comfortable with my size and have zero inhibitions about walking around the locker room with my dick exposed, I'd rather it be at its full normal size than post-workout compressed.
I love this clip. He says he's "getting naked with the boys" as he shows himself and a few teammates nude in the locker room and showers. For some guys, the postgame camaraderie is the best part of playing a team sport.

Yeah the one on College is definitely like that. I haven't heard much about the one on Grovesnor(sp?), but I am never over those ways.

From today's perspective it sounds really stupid but when i was younger i really seriously feared to be forced to shower with my team or school mates. Due to that i never joined teams like volley ball or soccer even though i would haved loved to play that.
Today i would not hesitate a sec and join such sports teams. I got rid of my fears of being the only cut guy or not the biggest one either... well i tought myself to feel good in saunas or at nude beaches and so today i really love to get nude when others are around and even enjoy when they take a closer look lol... nude life - happy life!

I went to secondary school in the early 00's. I don't remember any of my class mates taking a shower after PE.
In college it was 50/50 I'd say, and now that I'm in my mid-late twenties I'd say that the majority of guys my age are happy to be naked in front of each other in the changing rooms or showers after the gym or swimming etc.

Well stated. When I was young, I also had anxieties about getting naked in these situations but because I was closeted and knew I would not be able to control getting an erection. Learning to control that opened a whole world of naked opportunities. Now, I get naked in front of friends and strangers anytime its appropriate.
