nudity in lockerrooms

I remember at first gym i went to guys seemed to be comfortable undressing and walking to the shower and then into the sauna naked.
Some guys stayed in fro several minutes and never covered up. It wasn't long before I felt comfortable doing the same. Most guys were regulars
as racquet ball was the big draw, and some played everyday, it was like a normal way of life. The last gym i visited for a trial run most guys wore shorts to the shower, the showers were private and after doing the towel dance getting dressed, what has changed? btw this is in Toronto Canada
