I think i'm going to go with "subgirrl" she made a very good point supported by a couple others. You're right my wife is very trustworthy, and is satisfied in everyway (she says)

What a load of shit. My other half is a nurse and although gay he was on his course with a few Straight guys. We all used to go out on the piss and I dont think any of them ever had sex with each other. Thats not to say they didnt hook up with other people. Just not each other. You have to remember these people are going to have to interact every day for 4 years or possibly more if they end up on the same wards. And dont get me started on doctors and nurses. Why the hell would you want to have sex with a guy thats been awake for 72 hours without a shower!!!!!!

There were 8 guys in my RN class and only 2 were gay. Where I work, the HUGE majority of male RNs are straight. As for nursing school fucking, we did have one affair between a single male student and a married female student. This is out of 100+ people, so I figure that statistically it's probably about the same regardless of the venue.

I have 4 sisters, all of whom went to nursing school (4-year RN program). As others have pointed out, it's a very rigorous program academically, and none of them ever alluded to anything that I would consider out of the ordinary where sex, romance or dating were concerned. The [hospital] working world, however, became another matter - lots of drama, and lots of competition...

As am RN how finished nursing school 2 years ago I can say that there was a few hook ups that took place during school but nothing serious became of it. Nursing is an intense program and you spend a lot of time with your classmates because you need to study your ass off in order to pass. There are not huge orgies that take place. As for as straight guys in nursing, there were 10 guys in my class and 1 guy was gay. And in the unit that I work in of 50 some odd nurse half are guys and all are straight.

I went to dental school with 10% of class female but dental hygiene school in same dental school. Professional schools are stressful experiences and sex is a shared relief from the competition and intensity. There wasn't so much sex w/in our class except for one couple who hooked up and eventually married. The main action was between us male dental students and the hottie hygiene students. Those were the days! There was one really hot female dentist instructor that played around with a few guys in my class too.

As a straight guy looking to get into a nursing program and with other male friends into/graduated from nursing programs and female friends in the same position, I can say that the porno scenario of orgies and endless hook-ups is not the norm. For pretty much the same reasons anyone else has listed in support of the same idea. Of course hook-ups and relationships happen through meeting in classes/clinicals, but that happens whenever you get people together for extended periods of time as a result of mandatory rules/requirements that compel you to be with the same people day after day.
