I just opened up a membership at the Blink Fitness in Murray Hill. I walk there from work after leaving the office. A lot of college kids/guys in their twenties use this gym. No steam room, haven't seen anything happening.

I think most blinks don’t have sauna or steam room. It’s one of the reasons their monthly fee was is fairly low.

No steam rooms or saunas. All the action happens in the showers. I’d say usually after work hours so between 5-7pm. Even hooked up with one of the employees.

I’d add that Hell’s Kitchen and Murray Hill are completely two different neighborhoods. Murray Hill being more conservative. There’s honestly hardly any regulars I’d follow into the shower with. Maybe one or two, but that’s it.

Hey NY‘ers! Will be visiting town soon and would like to go to a gym with nice views on open communal showers. Action is not so important but nice views - preferably of a male audience in the 20s/30s. Places with day pass option would be ideal.

They closed down the steam room today at NYSC Midtown on 45th street because they caught some guys playing in the morning. TBD when or if they will reopen it according to the workers there…
