I see the two main party candidates as progressive conservative and regressive conservative. At the moment in American politics, there is no escaping conservative ideology -- and a fiscal tightwad liberal in my mold doesn't exist on the political scene. It's not Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid, and it sure as heck isn't President Obama. But I'll vote for him, because the damage the Republicans can inflict on this country's economy and civil liberties -- as if the last administration's roaring destruction wasn't enough -- is unthinkable.

I could never vote for a Republican , at least not the looney tunes we have today, who are whores for the Far right fanatical Christians and special interests like Big Oil.

I don't really get politics. I feel as though I should vote. But do not understand it enough to make an educated decision.

When I hear this from your generation I am baffled. You may not always have a definitive voice and what happens politically but IF AND WHEN something happens you disagree with, you have NO ONE to blame but yourself for not voting which may have affected the outcome. PLZ I IMPLORE YOU, to educate yourself. Do some soul searching and find out what the issues are and find intelligent sources for information on where the candidates stand and exercise your CONSTITUIONALLY GIVEN RIGHT as I have done since the time I turned 18 and for every election, no matter how small the ballott since that time.

By pulling the R lever or pushing the R button for any candidate is an invitation to take us back at least 100 years

INDEED .... well at least 60 yrs

I'm conservative, so I can't bring myself to vote *for* Obama. That means that I will vote against him. I will default to Romney.

I don't see how you vote for someone you dont believe in and have faith in. I could not in good conscience vote for someone merely b/c they were the default candidate and I didnt support them.

Were I american I would be voting Obama even though he is regrettably right wing for my taste.

Hahahahaha THAT is so damn true and actually one of my main gripes about him. He is such a Conservadem he makes the highly praised REAGAN look like a damn liberal !
I am hoping that will change when he is Re-elected, especially sinjce I know we will be giving him a strong House, the senate I am not yet so sure of.

Obama works for me. Given the hand he was dealt and the vehement, unrelenting attacks starting in his first month of office, I think he has done a fine job.

And of all the Republican candidates, Romney is the best choice (as long as he keeps the ticket moderate) , so even in the unlikely event that the Republicans win the Presidential election, I will be ok with it (unless he caves in to conservative pressure), but I am rooting for President Obama.

Definitely president Obama. I am a moderate liberal I the upper one percent, but understand the need of the majority who need better tax solutions, promotion of QUALITY education, and better standard of living. I definitely do no want to see another white male that has never interacted with anyone in working society except through fallacy.
