HEY STRATEDUDE! (Just borrowing your typeface for a sec.)
Are you gonna respond to HazelGod? Or are you just gonna move on to the next thread, like you always do when anyone challenges your usual string of baseless, unsubstantiated, hyperbolic, apoplectic statements?

I know you will find this hard to believe but I was actually going to site every one of my assertions, but I had to get off the cpu at the time and I just wanted to get the post up. But don't think for one second that I didn't see Hazel's inquiry coming 1000 miles away. And don't think that those questions somehow invalidates any of the claims. Maybe facts or figures to the contrary would but those weren't posted. However I chose to ignore it because his very first question was so stupid and pointless that in my opinion disqualified the whole from rating a response.

But if you are that curious I can answer the 'valid' questions. First of all most of them can be easily found by doing research. I shouldn't have to do that for you guys. If I did then we all might as well admit that I more capable and knowledgeable than you guys so just listen and learn.

But to answer one question, the changes are permanent because the law creates a social entitlement. Everyone knows that once a social entitlement becomes law, they always become a political "third rail" particularly when they are very massive like Social Security. This makes it nearly impossible to repeal or make any major changes to. Health Care will be even worse if it causes the private insurance sector to collapse, creating a single payer, government run system because it will be even more difficult to replace an entire private industry. In effect if becomes extinct. So trust me when I say that if Obamacare is not repealed, unfunded, or overhauled before it goes 100% in effect, it WILL be permanent.

I could write a novel siting all the others. What is your number one concern with my post and lets start with that. For now I'm going to bed with a clear conscience.

Um... lol?

As soon as the right starts protesting like this, the liberal rhetoric (and their actions) will always be worse.

Thanks. This is a good example of the difference between liberals and neo-conservatives. I am a liberal and I am ashamed of those "Kill Bush" signs. They are vile and illegal. The difference is that neo-conservatives are actually defending the "Kill Obama" rhetoric.

I have yet to see one Republican publicly say that this violent speech needs to stop.

So, you were talking entirely out your ass with virtually no knowledge of the facts of the law, how it was developed, nor the processes involved in its passage. That's about what I figured...I just wanted to give you the opportunity in the interest of fairness to clarify your vagaries and demonstrate otherwise before I wrote you off entirely.

FYI, you cite your sources, genius.

Your first question was to to site how Obamacare is 'his' law. That question makes you an invalid idiot.

Now you respond to a post not addressed to you without acknowledging the main content of the post and without even answering the question you quoted.

You are beyond brain damaged.

... before I wrote you off entirely.

You can't write me off because too many people (possibly even you) know I'm right. Instead of COUNTERING any of my assertions, you just figured you'd muddy the water by questioning the validity of the claims by demanding sources I didn't have time to put up right then. I'm not a journalist and I'm not turning these posts in to a teacher for homework. They are my opinion, I know I'm right, and many others do to and that bothers you. Righteousness, facts and truth will continue to bother you so you have two choices - you either get over it, or you make the paradigm shift. I don't care either way because I don't have to live with you, YOU do.

No, I asked you to explain your statement that the healthcare bill was Obama's law. I didn't ask you to cite anything in that case, partly because I know there isn't any reference material available for something so ignorant.

Your assertion reeked of stupidity, so I offered you a chance to explain your meaning. Educated citizens understand that bills are written, debated, and voted upon by legislators...not by the president. While it's true some bills may be influenced by the Executive, anyone who has been following the actual process of HR 3200 knows that Obama did not push specific points into the bill...and has in fact been chided by many of his progressive supporters for not taking a more aggressive role in its development and passage. So to call it "Obamacare" is to wear a big sign around your neck proclaiming yourself to be a fucking moron who doesn't know what he's talking about.

Which, again, was my prima facie assessment of you, but I wanted to give you the chance to surprise me.

You can't write me off...
Again, you're dead wrong. Welcome to the ignore list.

First of all most of them can be easily found by doing research. I shouldn't have to do that for you guys.

That is hilarious! Stratedude... I wish I'd had your teachers in school.

"Vince, where are your footnotes and bibliography for this term paper?"

"Huh? Look them up yourself. I'm not going to do your job for you. What does the school board pay you for? Sheesh!"

If I did then we all might as well admit that I more capable and knowledgeable than you guys so just listen and learn.

The only thing I'm listening to is the sucking sounds as you pull facts out of your ass.

Sorry y'all, my response to stratedude was languishing on my computer while I got busy with something else.
I see you have picked things up in the meantime. Anyhoo, here tis as twas:

To maxcok:
I know you will find this hard to believe but I was actually going to site every one of my assertions, but I had to get off the cpu at the time and I just wanted to get the post up. Why don't you respond to HG before you try to deflect and move on to me? Go ahead, post your "facts and figures", or "write a novel" rather than making excuses. When are you going to "answer the 'valid' questions"? When are you "going to site [sic] every one of [your] assertions"? Please show us how you're "more capable and knowledgeable" than the rest of us. We'll all "listen and learn". :18:

The general rule is, people provide their own citations for their own claims, rather than expecting the readers to do that homework for them. Especially when we all know you're just spouting vague talking points, poorly at that, and you have nothing to back them up. You just regurgitate what you've been fed, you know nothing.
For anyone to go looking for proof of these baseless idiocies would be a wild goose chase and a colossal waste of time. I know you think we're stupid (ironically), but surely you don't think we're that stupid, do you?
Go ahead, prove your case. We're waiting . . .

To reiterate, I have nothing to say to you. You've already run away from me in my thread when I refuted your simplistic propagandistic tripe. You've run out of other threads for the same reason. If you've got anything to stand on at all, which we know you don't, you need to address the OP. [Edit: Which in the meantime I see you have, and it's delicious.]

P.S. It's "cite", not "site". I'm normally not a spelling Nazi, but it is kinda what we're talking about, and relevant in more ways than one.

BTW: Did you ever do any reading up on the 'Authoritarian Mindset'? I gave you six 'citations'. Nah, didn't think so, which just proves my point. You believe what you believe because that's what you've been told to believe. Facts are irrelevant to you.

The longer the man stays in office, the more bitter the opposition becomes. The paranoidal rants get louder, more frequent and more outlandish.

Sounds like the opposition to Bush.

Not even the liberal rhetoric against Bush was this volatile or angry.

I am a liberal and I am ashamed of those "Kill Bush" signs.

I guess Vinylboy wasn't paying attention from 2000-2008

Explain how it's "his" law.

Explain ...

Explain ...

... please explain exactly ...

Explain...

Explain ...

Explain...

If you cannot understand how the healthcare bill has Obama written all over it, then you really should not even bother posting about it.

You are not a professor giving a test and we are not your students (THANK GOD!)
You cannot defend the points brought up.
Your only defense is to nitpick points brought up by others and demand they take every point and reply with a volume.

All those things are bad, even if there really is no proof of the racial slurs at rallies. But still, all of that pales in comparison to signs calling for outright murder. Plus when you throw in all the arrests, property damage, and felonies committed during protests by the left, it really just isn't even close. Once the right stoops that low, then we can call it even.

Oh please, Mary. No proof of racial slurs at rallies? Wash your ears, and wait for the woman in the crowd, off camera, to yell the N-word. We'll start there for now and if you deny this, then you're an obvious, antagonizing forum troll that will instantly go on ignore.

Also, I'll see your three signs, and raise you a bunch of stories and recording from lunatics that made death threats to people in congress.

There is absolutely no contest here.
But all common sense aside, you don't care if people yell racial slurs at others, spit on other people, threaten Senators or Representatives over the phone or plan to march down Washington in a "peaceful rally" while wielding a loaded gun on the weekend of the Oklahoma City bombing. All of that means nothing, because you saw three signs calling for the murder of George Bush online. And THAT is your clue as to how "liberals" are going to react if and when Republicans take back control? Really? LOL!!!!

There maybe some lunatics on the left, but it's still NOTHING like what we're experiencing now. Seriously, you partisan hack.... you're embarrassing yourself. Shut up.

Mr. Stratedude:

You may be many things, but one thing you definitely are not is "right" -- as the word is used to infer "correct."

Seriously, stop with the constant deluge of pointless threads bashing Obama.

It'd be one thing if you had a legitimate, informed gripe about the administration's policies...but nobody gives a flying fuck about what this or that poll says on any given day. He won. He's the president. Shut the fuck up and try being part of the solution for once.

That makes no sense. Furthermore, considering how the left was with Bush, you can;t make the argument the left was any better of an example.

He is president - not king. We can disagree.
