First time in history a President was heckled by an elected representative in an address.

And, of course its a fucking republican and of course he's from the national birthplace of racist treason.

If Republicans had any fucking sense of decency and ethics, the senate head of the party should eject this disrespectful fucktard racist moron from their caucus, the RNC should refuse to support his re-election, and the senate in general should either censure him or yank his fucking certification to serve.


Its bad enough the way republicans have underwritten the vituperative end of civil discourse in public meeting around the country... but when they get to the point where they have no respect for the highest office in the land- the president elected by the American people, and parade their disrespect before the entire nation.. that is stepping way over the line.

Inappropriate it was as the president is considered a guest in such circumstances. The president can only request that he address congress, he cannot demand it but once a year (and even that is debatable as the Constitution is vague about it).

Representatives are only "Certified" after an election, and the House Clerk (not Speaker) is the one who certifies them. The certification is confirmation of their lawful election to the position and that they meet the qualifications to serve.

This certification cannot be "revoked" by Pelosi.

If she could muster 2/3 majority, she could have him expelled.

Censure does nothing, except to make a public "tsk tsk" sound behind gritted teeth.

So, no, in reality, Pelosi can't do anything, at least not without 2/3 of the House agreeing with her.
