Really? You're forgetting that blacks were the #1 minority in California that voted FOR proposition 8 and then latinos. That's probably more than a few democrats in there showing anti-gay bias, no? Ignorance is bliss. Not all conservatives are racist or homophobic...just as there are plenty of liberals who are. Labeling racists and homophobics into one political party shows YOUR bias. Which in turn makes you the same as those you criticise.

You really want to go there?

Here are some more statistics for you to chew on:
85% of voters identifying themselves as evangelical or born-again Christians voted "yes". Of non-evangelical Christians polled, 42% voted yes. 77% of Republicans in the poll voted yes. 85% of John McCain supporters voted yes. 62% of those without a college degree voted yes.

So, were blacks (or minorities) responsible for passing Prop 8 as you are implying? The answer is no. Overall, minorities made up a considerable less amount of the vote and to scapegoat them as being the problem is bullshit. Religious belief is the problem here, because that is the only thing that plays an underlaying factor in all of these votes regardless of their skin color.
Don't talk about someone else's political vices if you're then going to twist the same futile statistics to make some pathetic political point with no real standing.
Being that I'm gay and black, I can tell you (whatever race or political affiliation you are), that NO RACE should be trying to exonerate themselves for the passing of this bill. And I'm a Christian too, so let's not get this twisted.
