Have you ever purchased a used car and found something unusually odd in it?

I test drove a newer sedan and it had this strange smell... Almost like rotten fruit or something. Couldn't put my finger on it. Then I opened the ash tray and found an apple stuffed in there - slowly rotting away.

My Cutlass had zipper seats so you could take the covers off and get them cleaned if necessary...it was a GREAT place to store porn books and nobody the wiser... I sold the car with a few gay mags stowed away...I wonder if the next owner ever figured it out!?

Have you ever found something odd in a vehicle you purchased/obtained?

I got a car from my dad and found a bottle of vagira and condoms in it. The bottle of vagira did not go unused.

About 4 years ago I rented an SUV that I was thinking of buying new and my boyfriend and I drove to NYC to see his 87 yr old grandfather. "Pop" was so funny I will always wonder what he was like when he was younger and you would not ever guess his age as he never complained about health. He looked like "Junior" on the Soprano Tv show and was often teased.

So in our trip he needed some things at Home Depot so we all got in the SUV and off we went up to the Nyack Super Mall to shop. I drove Pop was in the back seat and during the ride he says "OMG, my god" then got really silent. This talkative grandfather then stayed silent all through the shopping with yes and no answers. We asked what was wrong and got no response. He could not for some reason look at me either.

So we get back to the SUV and my boyfriend opens up the back hatch to load in all the bags and there is a HUGE and I mean HUGE black dildo rolling around the back hatch section. It was about three coke cans long and just as round. I swear I died.

We just stood there in silence until I realized that his grandfather thought it was mine! I frantically said this was not mine and showed him the rent company green E sticker on the truck and said it had to be from the people before us. He looked like he did not believe us......

Enterprise rental was called right away and told the manager what had happened to us and that NO refunding all our money was not good enough that the car was supposedly cleaned. I told him I was going to come to the office, wait untill it was packed and walk in and put it on the desk and let everyone know the cars were not cleaned before being re-rented.

We laugh about this now but it was so not funny for me when it happened. My boyfriend told every relative while we were there, and the men had to go out to the SUV to see it in the bag his grandfather gave us to store it in.

I returned it Sunday when the place was packed right before close. When I walked in with the bag in my hand the manager ran over and ushered me into a office to beg us not to say what we found. I was refunded all my money and given 14 days free rental on what ever I needed to rent in the future. I still feel it did not erase the look his grandfather gave me in that mall parking lot!

My dad worked a period of time for a finance company, and part of his job was to hunt down repos. One thing I do remember being discovered in one of dad's repos was a sawed of shotgun. I remember dad calling the police to have them to take ownership of the gun, the police then more or less dismantle the entire car. Poor dad I think by the time they was finished with the car, he wished he had never called.

This may just make a few nervous and scared...
I got an old used car...was removing stuff from the truck.
There was a balled up sack and I opened it...at 1st I thought it was just some white of cleaning rags but as I pulled some of them it out, there was a KKK head hood in the sack too:eek::yikes::scared2:
I totally changed my mind about keeping it and driving it...scraped it for parts!
Like me add add in the dixie land of the lower south.

I dunno how odd this is, but I found a bottle of cheap vodka that hand't been opened yet under the seat of my truck. In the area where it had a compartment for tools and shit for a flat tire and what not. Pleasant surprise. Cheap or not, free is free.
