Hey Hatched69,

The ride home wasn't bad. It was kinda bouncy, but not as bad as the trip to Cyprus (from Germany). I am not sure if it is cause we went straight from Cyprus to Elmendorf AFB here in Anchorage or what....but I actually got about 6 hours of sleep on the plane...which is good for a C-130 ride.

Rock on,

Damiaen

Glad to hear the ride home wasn't so bad. A C-130 in turbulence will bounce your gonads right out the door. If you get a chance, take a hop in a KC-135 refueler. On takeoff, they're a blast!! Literally. I hear them day and night where I live....

Indeed...and for some reason over Germany it is just plain bad no matter what. Cause on the trip over, we flew in a regular jet, like you would catch at any major airport, from Anchorage to Landstuhl, Germany. Then from Landstuhl AFB to Cyprus on a C-130. On the 767 and the C-130 over Germany it was nuts! We bounced around in both planes.

But on the ride home, straight from Cyprus to Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, it was smooth sailing. For that I and my junk are greatful:)

Rock on,
