You're absolutely right! Sucessful business meeting involve complex interpersonal communication. There are times when you need to make the client feel superior, times when you need to be peers, and times when you need to be sending dominant signals. Hence all the issues about where people sit around the table, how high the chairs are, and if you should talk seated or standing at the podium, etc.
Being a gay man, my view of this may be a bit biased. However, I am sure that even among heterosexual men penis size becomes a "Dominant Male" issue. As such, flanunting it in any way can send the wrong message during those times when the client needs to feel that you are responding to his needs, and he is boss. On the other hand, after you have reeled him in, presenting a more dominant image can be helpful in negotiations. However, one must be careful not to cross the line between subtle body language and appearing vulgar.
