I want to echo what Naughty said just above this post. Back during the some high profile bans and with the exodus of several prominent members, there was a thread where so many people suggested that we moderators were sometimes too arbitrary and were guilty of just giving bans at a whim.
Thanks for the support of the mods you guys have given lately. A site this large, 120,000 members, I'm told does need to be monitored.
As we determine polices to follow your input is appreciated very much.
Let me give an example of what I am talking about. Person A breaks the term of service but it isn't that bad, but a person can be banned for it.
That is the rule. But procedure is different. We can send a friendly reminder of what the ToS states, then officially warn, and then give a term ban of one day up to two years or a permanent ban.
Some have thought we might have been a little hasty in banning people so we are trying to give people another chance, unless it is REAL bad, to shape up.
I missed this episode with this link. The link is gone. That makes it a bit difficult. There is no evidence now.
