I just get this when I click the link and when I copy it to the address bar:

Free FLV player from C/Net's download page: http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000-2139_4-10467081.html

You will need the FLV player, as the video clips are in FLV codec, and cannot play without a player that recognizes that particular codec.

When you go to KeepVid, just Copy and Paste the YouTube (or whatever) web address/URL from the address bar into the KeepVid website. And just follow the instructions.

Let me know how you make out with it.

Curried egg.
I have similar problem in that when I click like I get an error message similar to yours. How did you solve your problem? Maybe that'll help me.

Also, anyone, I have a problem opening video on XTube. It says I need the latest Macromedia Flash player. I've installed this and it still doesn't help. Any ideas?

Thanks for your advice jdc, however, I'm not having much joy at all:

I'm sure I already had FLV player, in fact I know I did, but I downloaded it again just in case. It is present in All Programs, but I still get the same error message.

As for KeepVid, I downloaded that also but can't seem to make it work. I thought this was a free trial version, but it asks for a code when I try to enter the URL and all I manage to save is a small text file. I do not have any code to enter. Can you offer any further help?
