That's a bit Anglo-Saxon-centric in here 
My accent is German. Unfortunately (?) it's easy to tell... My greatest success hiding it while being in Australia: an elder Aussie didn't know what to do with my accent, so he asked if I was from the states...
Anyway, I think any accent is pretty interesting. And I like to remind people of the fact that even native speakers have one...
