Oil kicks off year by hitting $100

    I'm going to drive my 2002 nissan frontier untill it falls apart so I will have money for gas. my truck gets 26 mpg Im happy its paid for :):)

    hope the BIG SUV drivers in joy paying 4.00 a gallon for gas :):)

    I was less than thrilled when my 1995, 40 mpg Civic died on me in September. Now it's a 94 Accord that's getting about 29. I drive over 100 miles a day. Hurts a bit, but not nearly as bad as it could be.

    Just ordered my second cord of wood for the woodstove. Even at $275 a cord its way cheaper than oil for the boiler.

    I'm a petroleum engineering major....every price increase relates to an increase in starting salary :)


    .....I plan to drive a hybrid and I swear I'm a strict Democrat! lol

    i have a jeep rubicon which gets about 20mpg. glad i drive only 6 miles to work.

    high oil prices won't cause a recession...thats a historical fact.

    i think you meant to say recession...a depression is a lot worse than a recession.

    No, over valued houses and easy money loans cause recessions.
