I think what you are calling a "ranting. raving delivery" is actually an impassioned plea to WAKE UP the people that are REGISTERED VOTERS but not LIKELY VOTERS, to the HARSH reality of what could happen if they don't GOTV! You have to remember, he started in ESPN and as a sports announcer was like most announcers the ranting raving variety, so I imagine it is in his training.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo I understand his reasoning behind doing this but many times the worst assholes are not even of the political ilk. This is one of my favorite segments and I beseech everyone who feels the same to tell him KEEP THE WORST PERSON segment on COUNTDOWN !!!
