Old Reliable Models

Does anyone remember the Old Reliable set of videos that came out in the '80s? The company was the brainchild of David Hurles, who basically picked up street hustlers and filmed them jerking off. These guys were about as rough as you could get, with many (most?) of them being ex-cons and junkies. I was fascinated by these films, as they were like nothing else at the time. They were about as far away from Falcon and Colt as you could get.

Since most of the OR models would do ANYTHING for money, many drifted over to regular porn flicks. However, the studios that would employ these ex-con, tattooed junkies were of the ultra-low budget variety. Over the years, I've searched for any porn films featuring the OR men, but haven't had much luck beyond Filmco Studios, run by Hal Roth. Does anyone know of any other studios that used these dangerous (but hot!) models?

Supposedly, David Hurles was beaten up and ripped off by several of the models he used. Also, even though the videos were all j/o scenes, he had a special set of vids he saved for special clients called "In Private", where he had sex with the models. I have a few of these, and they are hot.

The OR models I have seen in "mainstream porn" were Tico Patterson, Brian Diaz, Eddie Perez, Champ and Rocky Rome. But I know there are many others who did porn. The OR guys I would love to see in action were Butch Gaylord, Scott Ruffing, Mark Gillis and Mark Kovarik.

Yeah, what a fantastic era that was! I was fascinated by that genre and loved AMG STUDIOS and OLD RELIABLE very much. I was
