Care to list any of them that are still in your head.
Armor hotdogs jingle in my head.
Probably because you said hot dogs, but the first thing that came to mind was:
My bologna has a first name, it's O-S-C-A-R My bologna has a second name, it's M-A-Y-E-R Oh, I love to eat it every day, and if you ask me why, I'll say, "'Cause Oscar Mayer has a way with B-O-L-O-G-N-A."
"How do you get shirts so clean Mr. Lee?"
"Ancient Chinese secret!"
Only the crumbliest flake is chocolate, tastes like chocolate never tasted beeeeeforrrrrrrrrre
I remember the commercials from the 60's........the most insidious for me?
"Winston tastes good, like a ciggarette should!"
Smoked my first 1 at 9 years old. Got 'HOOKED' for 25 years.
Hardest habit i ever kicked.
It seems in my memory that every other commercial in those days was for ciggarettes or beer! The 60's......man.
That's a good one.
Where's the Beef?
A few Coca Cola commercials spring to mind, Other than that "I am stuck on Band-Aid and Band-Aids stuck on me!"
Mother please i'd rather do it myself!
"Plop, plop, fizz, fizz,
Oh, what a relief it is!" and Speedy Alka Seltzer
Let's not forget that slick Gillette commercial with Santa going down hills on an electric razor.
Yup, the best a man can get.
Wasn't Santa ridin' a Norelco?
Edit.....my memory is not so bad....here he is!
You beat me to it...here is the other one!

If you can remember the 60's.....you weren't old enough to do drugs.....YET! :biggrin1:
You're right. My bad. Senility is setting in.:biggrin1:
Maybe I need "Pepsi . . . for those who think young!"
They're not as famous or memorable as the ads previously mentioned, but I used to like the old Mountain Dew commercials from the 70s (and 80s?) featuring young 20-something people frolicking in the countryside. Some of those guys were hot. The one I remember most featured people climbing into a giant inner tube and rolling down a hill into a river or lake.
I couldn't find that one on YouTube, but I found this montage of old Mountain Dew commercials. The one I like starts at 1:42 and features a guy wearing short shorts swinging across a river on a rope.

Anyone remember the Colt 45 Malt Liquer guy? They did these cheesey commercials with this guy through the 60's.....
Some of the foulest shit that was ever canned to drink.

Then there was this psychotic bastard....the hawaiian punch guy:biggrin1:

First gay commerical "actor' had to be "Twinkles the elephant", who chanted stuff like "nose nose, anything goes, make it grow like a power hose."
TWINKLES was a cereal.
"choc choc chocolaty ... chew chew chewity..."
"jr put that back in the toilet" ( I added this lol) it was a tootsie roll commercial..
You'll wonder where the yelllow went, when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent.
God, I'm aging myself with that one.
