By older I mean 40s and above.
Sorry if this is too personal to ask, but just being curious.
When growing up in the 1980s or 1990s or earlier, do you resent the openness of the past decade?

Resent it? No. Sure, I may have arrived at my decision and subsequent action sooner had those times been different but I'm not so sure of that. I do not suffer strong dysphoria though. My decision is purely optional and I am not so sure I could have made this step any sooner. It's kind of a big deal ya know.

No. I only feel they need to be more patient, understanding and not so SPOILED

Not "older" but with 38 I am a millenial who witnessed some change in the community and in society at large.

I think the openness is on one hand a good thing that wasn't there back in the early 2000s, but on the other hand the overt wokeness makes people hate us more.

In hindsight I think things are better now.
If puberty blockers were widely used in the late 90s I wouldn't have had to go through male puberty and would have transitioned sooner.

I began hormones at 20 and while that's still considered young, I regret not having been able to do it at 12 or 13 of course.

Overall I am still glad to have been born in an era where I was able to transition at a relatively young age.
Many trans people wait till their 40s and 50s.
At least I was able to live my entire adulthood as the woman I am supposed to be.
