1st and foremost, I give all praise to American Pie to highlighting older women as a viable option.
Secondly, an unfortunate statutory event kicked off my sex drive pretty early, and all of the girls and women whom checked off my visual attraction lists were older and more developed at the time, something that has stuck with me..
Thirdly, i was amongst the shortest in my class until 8th grade or so and the youngest until freshman yr of college, so even then most female peers were older than me.
Lastly, adulthood has really brought a dramatically deeper look at the cost/benefit analyses of dealing with younger women(18-25?), and frankly, the physical and visual draw doesn't really seem worth the juvenile antics I'd have to endure; and that's even assuming the physical and visual draw isn't drastically mitigated by puberty, child bearing, etc.
I know it's tropish and not really based in any concrete evidence, but my experience has typically been women get with men under the expectation that they'll change eventually, while men hope the woman they love stays the same, more or less..and to me an older woman, whose appeal has held up throughout the multitudes of natural and societal influences that drastically impact a woman's appearance, behavior, and mindset over the years, seems like a smarter bet for sustained interest and attraction than, a younger and more volatile woman.
Not to mention, now that Im 35, if I were to be hypothetically single, any possible encounter, whether it be casual or sustained, would be so much easier if both parties came into it with a healthy understanding and respect for the demands of work, children, life in general; something not really common to individuals 25 and below.
Plus we dont tend to fantasize about the common, we fantasize about the rare...20-25yr old hot women are a dime a dozen, but I have nothing but mad respect for a 45 yr old and up ass that damn near demands i take a second glance.
