Any of you use olive oil as a lube? Bad idea? I wondered about using it for sex. Probably not so good for my wife's pussy? I thought it would be good for oral. She'd be getting some meat that was actually good for her.

Albolene is the best lube.. greaseless.. odorless.. and a little lasts a long time. It is sold over the counter in drugstores as a facial cleanser ;)

Yeah, nothing goes better with cock than a delicious mouthful of olive oil (gross). What she have a saliva deficiency? Jeebus christ dude she's not your hand. And a big fat NO in using it for intercourse lube.

Here's an idea, how about you actually get her excited enough (hint: little foreplay) as to not need something out of your kitchen cabinet. Honestly, you should have married a blow-up sex doll.

I've never tried it. But I'd agree that I'd go with the massage option here.

I do know that there are times when some women cannot generate enough natural lube to satisfy penetration, causing intercourse to be painful. There are many reasons for this so don't go getting all upset at her if she just can't produce. (And don't think that it's all your fault either.) Perhaps she could talk to her doctor?

There is a thread or two or three floating around her about lubrication that might give you insight as to what are some very good options to use.

good luck

If she were a virgin you would need to use Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

We cook with it and love the flavor, and it works great as lube for all kinds of sexual activity!

Man hater much? Many of the men here are in a relationship with women who have been through menopause and nolonger produce enough lube if any!

For the O.P. my wife and I also like grape seed oil,it's a bit thinner than olive.

You're correct ed. I was harsh, condescending, in my response. Add, uniformed and didn't take into consideration that some older couples may actually use olive oil as a lubricant. I googled olive oil and apparently it can safely be used as such. I suppose reading that he wanted his wife to use it in her mouth sort of sent me off on my rant. Seemed a bit ridiculous to me. I thought of all the lubricants that can be bought at the pharmacy, thought them far safer, and never considered actually checking to see if olive oil could be used as such. I stand corrected and I apologize to the OP.

As a female who has never lubricated very well even in my twenties, olive oil, almond oil and grape seed oil are all wonderful lubricants and yes I have started by manually stimulating my hubby using grape seed oil and finish with a blow job. I find that the taste of the oil as a little seasoning and usually enough so I can massage the balls while eating my hubby's penis. Just know that if you get sloppy with it you will have to stain spray your sheets.

All I know is that some guys use it for solo work. Wondered if it would work for two. I am a big fan of the taste of olive oil, so I thought maybe others would be, too. My comment about the oral was partially a joke.

Maybe Meg Ryan in "When Harry met Sally" had olive oil in her salad.

Yup, olive oil is great. It's good for the skin and it soaks into skin after a while, too - so it doesn't feel as gross as a lot of other oil-based lubes can. It can also taste really good, but it's like wine in that the quality of the fruit and the location it's grown will heavily influence the flavour. The cheap grocery store stuff, while good for cooking, is a bit off-putting on its own. I'm quite fond of organic Greek and Palestinian olive oils; they're smooth, just a little sweet, and have a lovely aroma. Great on salads, bread, and dicks. ;)
