I'm not sure if everyone is aware of the latest "Scandal", but on CNN's New Year's Eve show with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin, they were near the end of the program when a heckler or two started shouting at the two them. Kathy, being known to be saucy and who probably talked down a heckler or two in her career, shouted back to them while the cameras were still on, "Hey, we're trying to work over here! Do I come down to your place of work and slap the dicks out of your mouth?" They then went to a commercial, whether it was planned or not, who knows, but you could here Anderson Cooper laughing a little as they went out. Of course, shortly after Kathy Griffin spoke, some people got righteously offended, saying she was vulgar, calling for the FCC to fine her and the FCC, etc. What gets me is, is the US such prudes that the word "dick" is SOOOOO offensive? It's not like she said c********r or m**********r. Perhaps some people were expecting the calm serenity of Ryan Seacrest and Dick (oops, better watch that!) Clark or Carson Daly?
I think i just worked out what Danny Bonaduce was doing New Years eve http://users.bandzoogle.com/RobertKellerComedian/images/content/Kathy_Griffin.jpg http://groovyvic.mu.nu/archives/images/050930_ArtsBonaduce_hsmall.widec.jpg :yup:
well, kathy griffin did not get where she is by being gracious, the model of decorum, etc. so she can say whatever she wants. if it comes back to bite her in the ass, oh well. but she can be funny.
Wow I can't believe I missed that! I was watching the countdown... but I must not have been paying attention when this happend!
intersting how like every "mostly gay" guy/ 1 female who have commented seem to really like her. for the "mostly straight" guys....not so much. why is that?
I just don't think she is funny and tries way too hard and is so annoying. I have yet to see a women comedian who has made me even chuckle. She also stole that line from George Carlin.
