What I found far more disturbing was a clip on youtube from a documentary about the practice of infanticide among some Amazon tribes. Based on the description in wikipedia, I think the clip was a reconstruction, but I didn't know it when I saw it, and watching children being killed was disturbing beyond words...in fact, I couldn't watch. I turned it off shortly after the "killing" began.
