The flowers are beautiful. ^ I have a jungle to tame when I go home again. I just got a retaining wall rebuilt.

Ohh, we should revamp the old "garden" thread. It was quite a few years ago, but I remember being very impressed.
edit: I would, but my searching skills on this boards suck

I wonder who on site is tapping their sugar maples to make syrup?

It's way too hot here in this part of the world.

We don't really have much of a spring here. It is 80 degrees and humid this week. All of the pollen is early this year.

    Nice pictures, OP.

OWO, pretty flowers! I saw some beautiful trees in bloom today! I was driving though, so it probably wasn't safe to take a photo.

Nudey, that's a beautiful retaining wall! Beautiful yard!

If I took a picture - all you would see is a wide expanse of white. It snowed heavily the past week.

I am seriously jealous of y'all.

Usually the squawkers come in pairs, then they are known as Cockortwo. :) Nice pic dragon, he looks a little cranky you took his pic though, typical cocky, cheeky buggers..probably wondering why you were looking up his feathers.

That looks so calming. Good luck with your jungle warfare.

Thanks Petite. Yes, don't drive and take pics you may end up in the tree.

Spring will arrive sooner or later LaFemme. Hopefully sooner.

Now that's just cool. Are they mean in the wild? Tulip trees are blooming here right now.

    Always the joker.....pfft

Yes wild cockatoos are very mean. They are very much wild birds with a beak that is stronger than an average set of garden shears. They live for over 30 years and while they look pretty and are vastly intelligent they are pests.

Hhaaha no and that bird was only giving you a love nibble.
If it was really serious you be down a finger.

I've made an public album of some of the photographs I've taken during my travels.
