The only time it bothers me is when NJQT says something that's clearly a matter of her own opinion, not a well known fact, or even factually incorrect in response to someone's often reasonable question and tags it with the :duh: icon. It's base and insulting, and she says enough :bsflag: that her overuse is highly ironic.

That's the only time the smileys grind my gears, so overall I don't have a problem. Well, that and the fact that the :bsflag: flag destroys the flow of posts

What happened to all the emoticons? There definitely were too many, but now we hardly have any whatsoever. Most of human communication is accomplished non-verbally. Without them, I feel as though my posts have lost any soul they once had. So much potential has been lost...
