Welcome to the true world of the Republican where the rules are:

1. I make the rules and can change them hourly to fit my party's ever changing position.

2. Don't do what I do because I am exempt from anything I say because I am rich and special. All of the rules I talk about don't apply to me.

3. It is against my party policy to ever tell the truth because if I don't stand on all of these outdated, impractical, dictatorial principles, the religious extremists will not support or vote for me, and they won't contribute billions of dollars to my party.

4. I stand on the principle of: "Always blame the Democrat or anyone else that's convenient, and do it aggressively so nobody takes a close look at me!"

Yep, this sounds about right. . . .

Neither party has a lions share of virtue, but the only ones claiming they do are the Republicans.

He knew that she was a young person and should not be having sex and then he documented it so he could show her the error of her ways. Ever time you look up some winger has his pants down, what is there a button shortage?

I am sorry, but this all makes Bill Clinton (my favorite president) look even better. At least we KNOW he's a horny hillbilly (no offense to hillbillies as I am one too) and we KNOW he's looking at those fat chicks he wishes he could have. But hey, at least he admitted :)

And unbelievably Sanford is going to keep his job. Aren't you supposed to step down when the preacher gets caught banging a choir girl?

Another hypocrite in the Republican party... "no sex outside marriage, no gay adoptions, no sex education except abstinence."

That's why RELIGIONS must be out of POLITICS..............

Down with hypocrite politicians.............

Christians, Muslims, Buddhists whatever..................

Keep that holier than thou attitude for themselves and stop judging others and

equality for all.

"I do not believe in sex outside of marriage. I simply don't believe in it. Yes, there is photographic evidence of SOMETHING happening there, but I am clearly not married to that girl. It wasn't sex! We're not married and I don't believe in sex outside of marriage, so it wasn't sex. You have to be married to have sex, it says so in the bible. So, I don't know what you would call it, but I didn't have sex with that woman because we aren't married."

Sounds about right.

That's why there SHOULD BE SEPARATION OF RELIGIONS and STATE.

Keep religions out of the public space and politics.

Republicans are hold into higher standard just because they love invoking religion into politics

and they got caught messing up with their own "moral values"

It makes many constituents got sick to the stomach and abandon the party of the holier than thou hypocrites.

Welcome to the true world of the Republican where the rules are:

1. I make the rules and can change them hourly to fit my party's ever changing position.
Fair enough. The liberals never change their positions. Like cutting funding for the military throughout the 90's then screaming their empty heads off about unarmored Humvees. Or, better yet, claiming the Iraq war to be unjust but fighting wars in Vietnam and Korea seemed just fine (even though they sent their troops in open top jeeps).

2. Don't do what I do because I am exempt from anything I say because I am rich and special. All of the rules I talk about don't apply to me.
7 of the 10 richest members of congress are Democrat (4 of the top 5). Know your facts man. Net Worth, 2007 | OpenSecrets

The 6 richest members of the Senate are all Democrat.

3. It is against my party policy to ever tell the truth because if I don't stand on all of these outdated, impractical, dictatorial principles, the religious extremists will not support or vote for me, and they won't contribute billions of dollars to my party.
Again, know your facts. The left has hidden behind disproven marxist/socialist theories for the last 85 years. And they are paid handsomely for it... Top All-Time Donors 1989-2008 Summary | OpenSecrets

Yes, that's right, the liberals are swimming in special interest money garnering 14 of the 20 top all time donors in American politics; to the Republicans 3. Feel free to dig through the list of top individual donors and see where billionaires donate.

I'll be interested to hear your tune change when you do.

4. I stand on the principle of: "Always blame the Democrat or anyone else that's convenient, and do it aggressively so nobody takes a close look at me!"

Neither party has a lions share of virtue, but the only ones claiming they do are the Republicans.
I've yet to hear a Republican say that they are the only virtuous party. Beyond that, I've listened to nothing come out of the left but Bush-bashing for the last 8 years. I can't think of anything that the left didn't immediately disclaim and blame on Bush. Even stuff that the socialists/Marxists should have admitted to, like forcing banks to make dangerous sub prime loans. I did also notice that there is no recognition of the Bush administration for succeeding in Iraq. I guess the left doesn't have that whole 'integrity' thing worked out either.
