after two months of not being able to be seen by a neurologist and being turned away by over 15. I do have and appt the 26th with one locally. My primary care doc said this woman would not be able to handle my case. So after several emails and phone calls. I got an appt Dec 12 in Chicago with one of the leading Neurologist that deals with the balance assiciated migrines that I have. So, that is wonderful news I got the appt and he takes the medical coverage that I have. Sad to be so excited about a doctors visit but I believe that maybe he may offer me some hope and some relief from some of these health related issues. I've had ER visits and doctors visits the past two months with my primary and she started me on a med which isn't working so far but at least she was willing to try! I've got some clotting issues going on. A venipuncture or IV bleeds even after 15 min of pressure. Yet all the test she ordered came back normal. I know of three more test she can run but I will leave that up to the neurologist. Anyhow, at least that was one good thing in the last 24 hours. Oh my son started school last week and he loves it! Except he is reading directions to the class. There is still talk of moving him up a grade in the next month. He is reading 2nd-3rd grade level and he just turned 6 a few weeks ago. If they can get his social skills where they should be (he is more comfortable around adults) he may yet go to first grade as I had hoped! He is not use to such a large classroom quite yet!
