Ah well, once again I'm out in the cold! (Figuratively speaking, of course. There is nothing cold about Provence this summer!) I'll just have to stick to IMs and e-mails, except that goofy-ass me forgot to set my e-mail account to pop3 before leaving, so my e-mails can't be retrieved until I return to the States! Oh, well. Having a lovely time; wish you were here!

...this is going to be cool. We thought Friday, September 12th, 9 EST would be best for the most people. Since it will most likely carry on for a few hours as well, anyone who can't join that early can join in later and hopefully we can catch a few timezones.

awellhungboi: Yeah, so like Sammy said, we're shooting for Friday, Sept 12, 9:00 pm Eastern U.S. Time. Anyone who can make it, please do! Anyone who can't, don't despair, there'll be more. Feel free to start setting up your own, or if y'know, you're online, and you see your friends here, shoot them an IM and say, "Hey, let's get some of these other people and all go in the Yahoo chat room!" That's one way to get that place more active.

The voice chat will be a blast! Last night with Sammy was my first time (voice chatting, I mean. ). And it was so much fun. Sammy has a beautiful voice, you really ought to hear it.

I warn you, though, I'm a s-l-oooo-w talkin' Southern boy, and I sometimes have a bit of a stammer when I'm nervous (which is often). So bear with me.

(And, really, if you don't have a mic, no problem! Only one person can talk at a time anyway.)

GreenEyes: Ok I tried and got to talk to one person briefly via typing. He then got booted or left. Then others who showed up didn't type so shrugs. I had shut off voice at the beginning when I was the only one in and I wasn't able to reconnect it. Said something that I wasn't allowed to join the public room.

Im not sure how it works. ( maybe if i read all the posts I would). but I need a double check on the time. cos i thought 9pm Friday was only about 6 am in Australia.
