Takes me back hearing you say that, I felt exactly the same. Yes you could do it by verification, but that doesn't have the same sense of achievement as posting your 1000th post. Not all memberes post "crap or trolls" as Lee M states Some are here to support the site with their presence others choose to support the site finacially there are some who take the easy option of verification. What ever method people choose it all helps to make it a great site that we all enjoy and love.
So that's why I'm a gold member! Heh, I need to read more often, let alone post more!
