The testes are the sperm factories and the semenal vesicles are the sperm storage.
Testicles are never "emptied" since theyre constantly producing new sperm.

I read somewhere that one testicle does almost all the work of making sperm, etc. and the other one's sperm doesn't really go anywhere. But it's there as backup.
