It's a process to get things going but it does work. I can now download DRM videos from OF. This maybe the only solution. I don't see an extension being available anytime soon that will be able to just allow us to download content as before. There's more processes involved just to get a video.

I found this method very technical and complicated...
I wasn't able to. It's not possible that it would be that difficult to create a browser extension or an app that simplifies this entire process with just a few clicks

It frustrates me to no end that 99% of OF models refuse to listen to their customers and accuse you of stealing their content whenever you complain about DRM. DRM is illogical and undoubtedly taking money out of their pockets, but they can't (or won't) think hard enough about it to realize that.

A simple hypothetical can illustrate this. Say you have 200 subscribers a month at $10/month without DRM, but your content gets leaked. You are making $2,000/month from subscription fees (plus whatever revenue you bring in from customs, PPVs, selling underwear, etc.).

But you are pissed off that people are getting your leaked content for free, so you turn on DRM. I think its pretty clear by now that turning on DRM will lose you subscribers. Lets be conservative and say you only lose 20 subscribers (in reality, it is very likely much more than that). Now you are only making $1,800/month plus you lose any extra revenue those 20 subscribers would spend.

But maybe the people that were previously stealing your content will now subscribe because they can't get it for free anymore? LMAO ... not a chance. You are throwing away money by turning on DRM. You are paying at least $200/month (in reality, much more) for the peace of mind that comes from knowing that people aren't sharing your content for free. Plus, no one other than your subscribers even knows you exist because you are too fucking lazy to market anything and your content can't be easily shared.

No to mention the fact that the DRM doesn't even really stop those that are dead set on saving your content anyways. So you are only punishing your loyal fans by giving them a much, much worse experience on your site and preventing anyone that simply wants to download your content for their own private consumption (and not share it).

Sorry for the rant ... this just really pisses me off and has completely ruined OF IMO. I thought models would figure this out sooner rather than later, but they are too stubborn and full of themselves to even consider stuff like this.

We should have had an extension by now. Developers are struggling to bypass it. I knew this DRM thing was gonna be an issue. I remember when porn sites started using DRM in the mid 00s and developers were having issues to rip such content then. Now in 2023 there is no formative way to do so unless you are willing to install various elements and go through various steps.

OF and its content creators are stupid if they think I'm gonna buy PPV that I will never own. Any page that has DRM on is not getting my coins, period.

I remember reporting some guy for using images from tumblr that were not him. Onlyfans only gave him a warning but his page is still active all those years later from my report. Someone who is on the do not post list I can’t mention because he name searches and gets threads taken down was also doing this.

Another user on lpsg called him out with proof of him stealing images from Google and lpsg closed the thread because he name searches. I mentioned both creators when I wanted a refund for a deleted page who never delivered on a custom and they asked me for proof as if I made up those two creators stealing images to pass off as their own. Their support is the worst.

Needless to say, I never got my money back, despite pointing out their hypocrisy in how they pick and choose which rules to enforce.

I was spending about $200/month on onlyfans (which sounds like a lot! Haha!) and now because of DRM, I’ve dropped to five subscriptions and I’ll probably let them expire and shut down my OF altogether.

So DRM? Well, the effect is that people who happily pay for porn and just going to wait for the leaks (like we did five years ago.)

Well said!! Funny thing is I have subscribed to creators by coming across some of their free stuff!! I would have possibly not known about them unless I saw it this way! In a way some free stuff draws more audience because I wanted to see more!!
