So, I recently posted a thread looking for members interested in erotic fictitious stories involving twins. It was promptly replied to with outcries of "ToS Violation!!!!" To which I replied that I had not posted content, and was simply interested in finding interested members, and then would trade stories off the site. Despite this clarification, I was contacted via PM by a moderator, issuing me a warning and advising I not post such a message again, pending possible removal from the site.
Now, regardless of your personal opinions on the topic, I'm just curious to hear people's thoughts on this. Given the link to the Terms of Service below, and given that I never posted incestuous material on the forum, nor did I offer too (in fact, I made it clear my intent was off-site contact) do you feel this was a fair call by the "administration"?

I think it is hard to be a moderator because you run into grey areas like this. Adjudicators like the Supreme Court will often lean to the conservative interpretation because they feel certain unconstitutional things that seem innocuous will create a kind of "slippery slope" for further and bigger transgressions. Silent prayer in public schools is a good example of where they applied that principle.

If would agree with the moderator, even though I appreciate the usually unbridled freedom of expression on this site.

I see your point...but also the TOS does address this issue....i think a courtesy contact given to u was a perfect way to address your error.....a banning for such behavior may have been decided, live and learn and sharing your story may help similar members, thank you.

Hmmm interesting points. I certainly agree with the slippery slope concept. However because the ToS does only refer to content (in fact the mod in his message accused me with "attempt to distribute" even though I mentioned doing so off-site) it needs to be re-written and clarified for future cases. Because as written now, its VERY hazy grounds to call me out on.

It's to protect the site. "Hey guys, I want some CP, but don't worry we wont do it on the site, contact me obviouspedo@ hotyahmsgml.com"
Hadn't thought of that. Obviously distributing CP and writing fictitious stories about twincest are 2 COMPLETELY different things (mainly that one is illegal and the other isn't lol) but its still a really good point.

You're right, but that is where the slippery slope thing can occur.

Indeed. And for that reason I defenitely think they need to re-write the ToS to make it specific about things like this (and ideally separate the illegal from the legal, so what I was trying to do would be okay under the new ToS, but im sure that's wishful thinking :( )

The following thread is about a story in Fiction recently removed:
http://www.lpsg.org/147704-hung-by-legaleagel.html?

This thread concerns "Greek Love"—also removed:
http://www.lpsg.org/150243-absolutely-appalling.html?

This sticky was recently added at the beginning of Fiction Stories:
http://www.lpsg.org/146664-rules-regarding-content.html?

The big picture is watch groups checking and infiltrating this site for how minors are handled, and for content about minors.

Why jeopardize this site for something that the owner does not want here?

Exactly, well said Sam.
