I 'came of age' sexually in the late 80's, when there was a lot of publicity about HIV and the Grim Reaper advertisement reinforced the 'have sex and die' message. I always used condoms for oral sex then.

Admittedly in the last 10 years or so, it's not something I have done. Mainly because my doctor has given me the rundown on risky sexual practices and I'm sufficiently comfortable the risk from oral sex is low. Of course, I make sure not to floss my teeth before and if I've had any dental work in the last few days I give it a miss too.
