Hi everyone :)

So a little back story...I ended my previous relationship about 2 months ago. It was over for a long long time before it was officially "over", which makes for a much easier transition.

So, I've been seeing this guy who is absolutely fantastic. We've done stuff but we haven't gone all the way yet. It's moving decently slow which is totally ok with me. BUT, every time we do stuff, I almost always lose my erection and I find it incredibly hard to cum. Is this normal coming out of a relationship. It's becoming pretty embarrassing :/ And it's not an attraction thing I don't think. Because he's really good looking with great attributes. I just can't quite identify what it is. What are y'all's thoughts?

I would say it can be normal .. If this is the first guy you've been with after breaking up with your ex, do you think it could be the nerves which are doing it?

I definitely think it could be...At this point, its just more of an embarrassment factor. He's being really super cool about it, but I just don't want it to get old ya know. I'm sure its just something i'm going through given the circumstance. We'll see how it goes :)

Hmmm. It may be as simple as performance anxiety. So you get hard and then lose it? When you are hard, does he touch you or do anything more physical? Your body/mind may be used to getting aroused only to have to "cool back down" and may be reacting out of habit. Have you tried talking about it with him? Maybe you need to move a little more quickly (assuming you are in fact attracted to him and want to). During your next "make out" session with him, tell him you want to have sex. You can only "take it slow" for so long.

I think you may be right. I'm just used to it being done a certain way it this is just different. Great. But different.
