Hi, I recently finished the questioning stage and I’m confident that I’m 100% gay. And lately I’ve been trying to learn more about safe ways to have gay sex. (I’m single, and currently not looking for anyone, I just wanna be prepared for when the time comes)
I initially thought that gay guys only can have sex through anal, but I read on a forum on a different website that there’s other ways for gay men to have sex.
It didn’t list anything specific, so I was wondering does anyone know any other methods for gay sex?

I agree with the other posters. When you do start having sex, be sure to be safe by using condoms and get tested regularly for STIs.

It's kind of a common misconception that gay guys can only have sex anally. I remember seeing a statistic floating around that claimed around 60% of us don't actually like anal. As you explore your sexuality, experiment and see if you end up liking it or not. Otherwise, there's always the mouth and hand stuff which can be just as fun.

gay sex is anything consensual that you both enjoy, man to man, from kissing, to frottage to full on penetration and everything in between. Sex is so much more than 'just' anal penetration. Find a guy you like and experiment with what feels natural to you both.

And welcome to gaydom, enjoy and be safe;-)

About PrEP, it’s not without side effects and shouldn’t give you a false sense of security. It may not be affordable depending on your insurance.
Speak candidly with your primary care physician about the options. If you aren’t comfortable speaking with him/her, find someone else. We’ve heard it all and there’s no reason to be embarrassed.

Thank you for the tips, and additional information guys. I actually haven’t heard about taking prep before so thanks for pointing that out. I’ll make sure to get tested regularly, and experiment with the options you guys listed.
