[QUOTE="StormfrontFL, post: 5828397, member: 325953"By the way which is it? Home defense? Protection from the government? To appear masculine? Your reason for owning a gun seems to be all over the place.
Already asked and answered,go back and reread in the Gun Control thread. No matter what I say you or someone else will tell me all about why you think I'm wrong.[/QUOTE]
Well that's because you're wrong so often.
You were the one who talked about fighting off an oppressive government. It's easily pointed out that little guns against "a well regulated militia" will do little good and no matter how much one mentions Vietnam that won't change.

See this is why most replies to you insinuate that you're not too bright. No one has said that you or any gun owner has to turn in your guns. For some reason you and your type are against the easy access of guns and see any attempt to close loopholes as wrong. Will you be happy when on the first day of kindergarten kids are presented with guns and everyone will be armed?

And nowhere in your many paranoid statements have you proven me wrong. Whenever closing the gun show loopholes or making background checks more intense or mandatory are mentioned any number of "They'll take my guns from my cold, dead hands" people can be counted on to show up.

Show me anywhere in here that it was said that all guns needed to be rounded up and taken away.

Once again, please explain this? It's one or the other not both.
Wow! You really need things made simple.

If loopholes exist then those who shouldn't have guns use them to get guns. Closing loopholes and making background checks more intense and mandatory mean fewer people who shouldn't get guns will be able to get them.

CHECK - DENY - NO GUN
DON"T CHECK - APPROVE - GUN

You are the one that does not get simple,in that one post you talked yourself in a circle.

How many US presidents have been assassinated? Protected by the best armed security. More have been intercepted via intelligence gathering. 1 or 2 were prevented by secret service far as I am aware, only after the weapon failed to discharge or the assassins attempted a front on assault.

Let's say you were present at the scene of one of these attempts to try prevent it. I think if you drew your gun you would be a dead man walking. The secret service would shoot you first, ask questions later. The outcome would be....oh well, poor chap.

Draw your gun if you wear one, just be aware in the confusion, you most likely will be one of the first casualties from someone else who has a gun other than the guilty person shooting.

No one really cares in a fire fight, whomever has a gun in the confusion becomes more of a target than those who don't, unless you have the time to yell out you are a good guy, yet in the confusion, I doubt anyone would hear you or care.

You really are stupid. How is closing loopholes that make access to guns easy talking in circles? Go let your mommy explain it to you, get a cookie, suck your thumb, and then take a nap.

I think easing up on the stupid thing from both sides would be most beneficial. It sometimes makes me wonder what diplomats actually have to go through in real life dealing with peoples real lives.

I see a young President or Prime Minister take office....I see a grey haired thin person leave office. It is a huge responsibility.

I doubt anything would be achieved, or anyone would listen when each other calls each other stupid.

Believe it or not, we are all entitled to an opinion. Sometimes, very rare it is, someone just may listen to another's opinion :) If not....oh well, the best opinion will win in the long run...maybe, maybe another opinion.

Call me an optimist....peering through the mist...;)
