The name calling doesn't bother me. It's part of being on a message board. Discussions get heated and names may fly back and forth. You have to have a thick skin to take some of the name calling. For me, I only do it if there is probable cause for it. You complain that I call you a bigot. Well... you are.

See, I feel that name-calling is never appropriate. There was once a Congressman who called someone a name, and that wasn't acceptable. I even remember much debate about it on this very board. In a supposed civilized society, things should be able to be discussed without resorting to kindergarten-style name-calling. But, they are your posts, and you are free to conduct your arguments as you see fit.

We are not Congressman. I don't want to be, and I'm very glad that you AREN'T. Don't even try to put yourself, or anything that goes on in a forum about big dicks on that pretentious level. You live in a closed-minded world where you feel it's perfectly OK to pass judgement or authority on people based on race and appearance, then get mad because someone like me who know that it's wrong to do so calls you on it. You also believe that since I don't think or see the world through your similar, hateful eyes then there's something wrong with me. If you haven't figured it out already, you've already lost the battle on what is appropriate or not in a forum discussion.

The name calling doesn't affect my overall message here. You, who are only worried about your "anonymous image" right now, are trying to act like it does because trying to act mature is the only thing you can do right now... and I stated before, you're failing miserably at that. Even if I didn't use the word bigot, there were many others I could use: partisan, sectarian, dogmatist, jingoist. All of it would have been true. Perhaps if I was still trying to form a nice way on calling you a racist I could have used some of these fancier words and you could have continued to pretend to be this beacon of forum civility who conducts themselves in a tolerable manner. But that is not the game that was being played here. I don't act phony or bullshit around here just to make people smile... especially to someone like you.

Your image is nothing here unless you can back it up with statements that truly represent who you really are. You tried to act like a moral citizen, all the while spewing a bunch of completely immoral garbage. Even with my foul mouth, my statements outshine, outclass and completely overshadow any of your beliefs, opinions and outrageously discriminative comments. Unlike some of my fellow posters here I'm not here primarily for one thing or the other, and 2) I love getting into debates with bigots. And yours is a tired and well worn stereotypical bunch of bullshit, wrapped in newspeak.

The original premise of the thread was to raise the specter of racism (on the part of black students) while resurrecting the names of social activists identified by conservatives as racists (Jackson and Sharpton...maybe they are, but then, as I recall, they called King a racist too) - though the o.p. tried to beg off the intent (as a rant) after it became all too obvious.

It could've all ended with that, but no, "up shucks" you with all your "they brought (whatever) upon themselves" and why don't "they" do something other than "play the victim" and if "they" move into the neighborhood and bring the property values down "we" have a right to move (and in fact, you DO...I'd even help ya pack, if I were "they"), although in one of your scenarios above, "they" shouldn't even be allowed to buy certain homes or move into certain neighborhoods, shouldn't they?
