Commentary: No time for dictatorship - CNN.com

Something I just read that I thought was really interesting from Benazir Bhutto, former Prime Minister of Pakistan who's return there last month was greeted by an attempted assassination.

I think it's worth a read for anyone interested in world events. The things going on in Pakistan right now are, in my opinion, exceedingly important to the future of the Middle East and Asia.

It is time, in other words, for reconciliation to truly begin that will allow for the mobilization of the moderate majority of my nation and the marginalization of militants, fanatics and extremists.
What do you guys think of what's going on over there? Do you think Bhutto will get her fair shake, or is she doomed to be assassinated by the extremists, who seem to have a stranglehold on the Pakistani government? Or have you not really kept up on it? I'm not sure what the mass media coverage of this has been since I don't generally get news from it.
