Seriously?

I think it is hilarious that people are even mentioning this.
Alright, let's run a hypothetical:

Palin tries for the 2012 Rep ticket, how will she make it in all those primary debates without looking like a total dunce? The media scrutiny will go into overdrive. I wonder how her daughters "marriage" held up in 2012?

How will she ever get the vote from people outside of the conservative base?
Dems hate her, independents get turned off by her moronic spewings, heck even moderate Reps look the other way.

Gimme a break.

She's a former Beauty Queen, and loves the attention. Her head has swollen up to a tremendous size with her face being everywhere. She has gotten complaints about turning into a "Diva". She is in ego heaven.

Dan Quayle. to his credit, never never suggested he would run for president during his VP campaign.

How stupid can she be...?

She's suggesting McCain won't last two terms?

Hmm. Hmm.

I haven't been able to find any quote or citation that suggests that Palin sees herself as a candidate in 2012, only that other people have suggested her.

Do you know something I don't?

There were quotes and stories in The New York Daily News. And I believe on AOL's political pixel rag. The stories surfaced about three weeks ago. Not as full blown stories, but three paragraphs shoved under a major story.

Are you thinking of this mis-edited ABC interview, where in context, her answer had a different meaning?

No. I don't watch TV. I don't have cable or a set of working rabbit ears.

I do think she did say she was considering a run, but it may have been taken out of context by the media to "2012". Assuming she gets elected as VP, this will provide a clearer answer.
