I have a theory about why this guy is losing so many of his viewers... My guess is that Beck's problem is that the viewers who aren't mouth breathing tea baggers, don't identify with a paranoid, jingoistic xenophobe who cries at the drop of a hat.

lolololol... Cute audio snippet of Beck on AM radio foaming at the mouth in denial of what we all now know is true...

Beck gets defensive about his ratings drop

The guy is nuts AND he's a liar. It's little wonder why increasingly, Beck's only audience are tea baggin' nutjobs.

Wasn't there also that recent investigation about his connection to/sponsorship by gold-trading scammer companies? Is that related timewise to the drop?

^Numerous rightwingers, such as Beck, have been purposefully misleading their viewers/listeners for years.

Beck has been spending a fair bit of time running his viewers in circles over that issue as well... Beck thinks Goldline scandal is a joke

An article just published today about this growing scandal...

This is the part that's astonishing, even if not altogether surprising...empirical proof that the moron population can suffer a 50% reduction and still outnumber us easily.

You shouldn't be surprised. Roughly 90% of the body politic is comprised of total idiots.

He's an entertaining broadcaster, but he is becoming increasingly far removed from his audience. His programme is getting crazier and crazier. He is becoming the political equivalent of a fundamentalist preacher. He is far too concerned with conspiracy theories, and has become far too partisan.

^You guys should get the hell away from the loonies who try to cling to the rest of you... Would make everyone else look a whole hell of a lot more sane and worth hearing out. I tried to tell local republicans that for a few years and finally gave up and quit the party. It was futile.

Ain't it the truth. The country has been beyond worth saving for a while now... hell, the whole lot of humanity has been a bad experiment.

Glen Beck is proof that there is no God.

Honestly, my brother (poor guy) watches Glenn Beck all the time, because he genuinely believes that the Democrats are aiming to destroy the country. Unfortunately, the reality isn't so black and white.

Everyone, no matter who they are, has an agenda. Everyone, no matter who they are, push their own agenda. The Republicans blame the Democrats, and vice versa, when in reality everyone's always just looking out for what they want.

What we need is someone who isn't looking for their own interests, and is instead looking to balance out the pit of hell America has become. Do I think it will happen any time soon? No.

The last episode of Star Trek NG:

Q: Seven years ago I said we'd be watching you, and we have been. Hoping that your ape-like brains would demonstrate *some* growth, give *some* indication that your minds have room for expansion....

In your own paltry, limited way. You have no *idea* how far you still have to go. But instead of using the last seven years to change and to grow, you have squandered them.

Time may be eternal, Captain, but our patience is not. It's time to put an end to your trek through the stars; make room for other more worthy species.

You're to be denied *existence*. Humanity's fate has been sealed: you will be destroyed.

Pretty much sums up mankind's existence.

I think Glenn Beck will ultimately turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to the Progressive movement in this country, as more and more people begin to see him for what he is: a fraud who constantly needs attention.

Yeah, both sides are guilty of blaming the other, but I think the Democrats have had more of a legitimate reason as of late. The bullshitty political stonewall the Republicans are putting up, followed with claims that no one will let them have any input, got old real quick, and they were called out on it months ago.

Again, look at who the pundits' targets are:

The Olbermanns, Maddows and Schultzs rail against people in power.

The Limbaughs, Malkins and Coulters re-victimize people who have already suffered enough.

Damn...I thought the GOP was bad when I left it for good in 1984; but who knew it'd turn into THIS?
