i used to be a big fan of the show. Now, not so much so. THe reason is, just about everything paranormal they encounter is a 'demonic' or an evil spirit, and that gets old quick. Not everything living or dead is evil.

Any ghost hunter that brings in the Bible-thumping Lorraine Warren isn't remotely serious about finding empirical answers to what phenomenon they're investigating. But that's what makes the show so much fun!
