I can understand some censoreship in the US, or even adding the tiny little sticker to a CD to show parents to beware... thats understandable, not all ppl want their children to hear about sex and drugs in music... thats all up to them...

But what I can't understna dis putting parental advisories on something that doesnt need them.

    Example:

Glenn Danzigs music has always had parental advisories... I can understand the misfits(graphic violence and murder) and Samhain too i suppose(murder, violence, rituals, etc) but I can't understand the parental advisories on Danzig I-IV...

"The Parental Advisory is a notice to consumers that recordings identified by this logo may contain strong language or depictions of violence, sex or substance abuse. Parental discretion is advised."

That is what that little sticker means, so why does Danzig's music recieve it? Becuase he has one or all of those things contained n his songs? No, he has none of those things, not even close... So why does he get that little sticker?

    What do you think?

If you wanna look at the lyrics Here.

    Look at:

    Danzig
    Lucifuge
    How the Gods Kill
    Danzig 4

(thats what the webste titles them, thats not the actual album titles)

What do you think about this? This is just one of many artists being subjected to something they dont deserve.

Fortunately Verdi's operatic lyrcis are without fear of violence or obscenity....

.. those were the days my friend...
