One day this week my mother opened my door and I was getting out of bed which I sleep nude and I quickly covered up I was just wondering what other people think about being naked in front of there parents

Could be.

Spontaneous and impromtu episodes of getting caught by surprise are for the most part unavoidable. They should not be fretted over. In fact, the less that's made of such moments, the better. MAKING issues over these unexpected glimpses is what causes problems and sets up wrong ideas especially (among the young) that somehow just by seeing someone's genitals is horrible. THAT'S a big contributing factor I think behind North America's "problem". Also the fact we've been scared to death to discuss sex with our young people....until it's often too late. They get into trouble or, have difficulties with sexual issues. --Then, they're really messed up.

So, horny---forget about what happened. Go on with life. Not allowing this occurance to haunt you marks more maturity on your part than what your mother ever saw that morning. And should SHE ever bring it up with a "negative tone" about it, remember your mom will have the real problem and certainly not you.

I guess I'm kind of an outlaw in this topic 'cause I'm Swedish.
I grew up in a cool family where nudity among the family was not an issue. Nudity was perfectly normal and acceptable among the family.
I've seen my parents nude ever since I was born so I learned how perfectly normal adults look in the buff.
It was not strange. It was perfectly normal and ok. There was nothing to it.
I feel so sorry for the children that grows up whitout learning how an adult man and women looks like.

My parents never ever made an issue out of being naked. If we happened to walkin on either parent nobody flinced or tried to cover up. I think when I hit puberty that I decided to try and change the rules. I GOT SHY! Eventually relaxed and was more careful and respectful of each other privacy.
Where the hell my parents became so easy going about sex, nudity, preference I have no idea. Primarily because all of my grandparents were door locking hide in the bedroom and donot discuus folks. I thank my parents for being so open minded! B)

Dad has seen me naked. I don't think that Mom has seen me naked since I've reached adulthood, but I doubt that it would faze either of us. She has seen adult penes before, and she realises that I have one, so I don't see that it would be any big issue.

I like that attitude.
I have tried over the years to adopt a healthier attitude
about nudity in general.
But i was not raised to think that it was OK.
I think the message that i got from my parents
was that it was "wrong" or something.
Maybe that wasnt the intended message, but it
was the one that came through to me.

It was not until my adulthood that i could
be comfortably naked in front of anyone but
my partner.

When I was about 12 my dad saw me walking naked to the bathroom. At that age I was already not far off my adult size "downstairs", and seeing my very full, bulging scrotum he remarked "so I see you won't have too much trouble providing us with grandchildren!" :lol:
